doublethink theatre was founded in 2006. Its artistic direction is not limited to any specific genre of theatre, the only condition being choosing plays for production that excite and inspire the audience, with a focus on reimagining neglected classics and new writing.
With no single theatre or location as a base, our mission is to continue to produce plays that marry artistic ambition and audience appeal and create an ensemble of actors, writers and directors so that we can achieve our goal of a fully funded self-sustaining theatre company
